Went to the hair salon to get a cut. or well to put it more accurately a trim.

Remember how in one of my previous entries, I noted how everyone hair salon stylist loves to drop the "rebonding" question on me?

well...they still do.

The thing was like this:

The after blow-drying and all, the guy commented this: "see, you hair looks nice now. If you do rebonding your hair can stay like this all the time."

Well, at least it wasn't insulting or anything. But I couldn't help thinking I DON'T want to have my hair like this ALL the time...

So his ploy, erm I mean tactic, erm sales speech actually failed quite miserably on me. But I just smiled and mumbled something about "yeah, but no lah. don't need lah...."

then while I was waiting for my mum. The hair stylist (or actually he was the blow-dryer and hair washer guy or do you call them shampoo boy?sounds wrong somehow.) tried again " If you would do rebonding, it will look like this all the time. won't have to blow dry your hair...." and repeated a statement along the same lines as the previous one.

Seeing that I wasn't relenting his bright light-bulbish idea, he well retreated.

Poor people, sorry but you can't earn extra money off me, unless I let you.....

Yep, I'm totally unfit and unhealthy.

Recently...(since last thursday I think) I got this ulcer like thing on my tongue and at the right side of my mouth.

It impairs me soooo much!

You see, I like to sing, I like to talk, I like to...eat. So yeah, with that ulcer and stuff, IT HURTS to any of those things. Sometimes just swallowing saliva hurts. Oh, and brushing definitely HURTS.

I think I feel it the most when I eat.I'm not a light eater.or in other words, I eat ALOT. I love food. :D especially so, when I just exercised and bathed and am having a good appetite then when I take a bite(appetite..bite...like some sort of poem)- OUCH! I have to slowwwwww dooowwwnnnnn and munch my food on the other side of my mouth (while the other side still hurts)... Once I think I ate too slow or was too hungry(combo of both I think) and got gastric after that! WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAA! :"(

so I have to exercise more( to erm release heat...apparently heatiness is the cause...But if it persists then maybe a checkup lah.but at the moment...) eat more fruits bla bla...

yep.

I NEED TO GET FIT.
I'll start now by sleeping Earlier...

It was FUN! :D

the first day I went there it was cold. quite cold. I've quite forgotten that fraser's hill was cold and all. But since I like cold weather it suited me just fine.

The latest Bond movie is really really good.
Yep, I got to watch the preview :D

It actually has a proper storyline and yes, I think it IS darker and grittier than the others.
For one, It has lots of twists in the story.And Daniel Craig is really a great actor.Oh and I just love the whole britishness of their speech.

I actually was a sceptic about Daniel Craig being the new Bond.I quite agreed with what some fans of James Bond were saying, that he was "
too blond, too ugly,insufficiently suave.". But after watching the show, You could say Daniel Craig totally won me over. After watching the movie, Pierce Brosnan who was the only Bond I've ever watched before this, is still more suave and handsome but he become a sort of male and brunette version of a Dumb Blonde. I don't know how to explain this, but somehow the older Bond seemed dumb in comparison. But what do I know? When the Bond movies that I can remember a minuscule.

Go watch it! It's quite violent, yes. But I think it's quite a good movie.

Hah! The Performance and Awards Night is finally over! :D

After vigourous, exhausting, gastric inducing practices. It's finally over.Never again (I hope!)Will I need to sit in probably one of the most uncomfortable position ever (having only about 5 cm the most of my erm rear on the stage, with frequent swift kicks and a knee digging into my spine from the big space occupier of a person behind me) and become suprisingly quiet because I don't know a single person in my choir group.Of course, after awhile they started warming up to me, but of course I had to go through lots of instances where I make a comment(in the lame and funny fashion that I tend to do) where they turned around to see who that loud unfamiliar voice was.

ME! one of the noisiest ever, quiet for at least 30 minutes at a time.

WELL IT"S OVER! MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA

and I actually had fun last night :)

I really need to STOP scratching my mosquitoe bites.

First, I get all this horrendous mozzie bites from who knows where since I haven't been out of the house much except for going to school. So I'll scratch scratch scratch! until I realize that I bleeds, then I'll stop. And berate myself for scratching so much.So I stop for a while, and it starts healing. Then suddenly I'll forget and start scratching it, making it BLEED again.

Ouch!

I actually have 2 other knitted scarves, but they're with my sister in australia. she's currently the only one who will ever have need for scarves. she has my first scarve and second scarve. (as in first and 2nd project)

You know what? It's not nice being free when everyone else is not.

Just a few minutes ago, I was reading/acting out the calvin and hobbes comic for my sister. And we were laughing our heads off. I uld have gone on and on but then my sister had to study for CPA. It's next week!

yep it's no fun when everyone's busy.

I have no idea. Honestly. ahahha

I still remember one of the days of PMR. all of us were quite calm.. not too hysterical. even talking alot.
Everyone holding their I.C.s and exam slip.I even made a lame joke to amuse myself and my friends while waiting..showing my I.C. pic saying" see, this is a perfect example of hair that defies gravity." :p you see, I have hair that well.. curls. Or as my mum says "Wavy hair."

The thing about having defying gravity hair, you get all sorts of comments from the hairstylist. Not negative, but just annoying.Here's what the hairstylists love to "attack" me with :

"Your hair very frizzy ah"
"Your hair very curly ah"
"Your hair very messy ah"

and then they'll all say the same thing:

"Do you want to straighten your hair ah?" to which I'll try very hard not to roll my eyes and the same old thought will strike me (thought: they want to just earn more money out of this cut), and reply " Oh, no lah. To straighten very expensive mah right?". The hairstylist will start to shake her/his head vigourously and say " Oh no, not expensive wan... You will look very nice wan." I once again will calmly refuse the offer. Then the hairstylist will try another tactic "You see ah, your hair now, is very dry ( an insult and problem) so if you do rebonding your hair will be VERY soft.(supposed solution)"

At that moment, I muster all the niceness in me to say "no lah. Don't need hehehe."
I don't have anything against people who straighten their hair or anything. But it gets very annoying, when they keep saying that.If my hair IS dry then recommend something that actually helps lah. I've seen people who get their hair rebonded and end up with DRIER hair wey... Also, common sense lah, all those chemicals...Besides, I'll have to take extra care of it to keep it looking nice. again, I have nothing against people who straighten their hair, I have friends who look very nice with it. So don't shoot me with "ANTI REBONDIST" okay?

It's just not the kinda thing I would want to do for my hair. But I might want to have red streaks. :D (do I hear some gasps? Joanna the "holy one" with red streaks?) Or maybe I'll just get some temporary tattoo. (Do i hear more gasps? Shrieks? People saying things like "Pigs will fly first!" You don't know me well enough my friend! :P )

I LOVE WALKING MY DOGGY! It's really nice to walk/jog/walk your doggy around the course. Big tall trees, green grass, no noisy people.and then while waiting for Pepper to sniff around and "inspect" the area, I just looked up around and take in the nice scenery.( one fine day I'll take a picture of it and let you people see . :D ) the funny thing was I was smiling and just enjoying the moment while my iPod was playing a "Blind" by lifehouse which is a nice song but not really suitable to the moment.

Anyway as I was walking back to my house I thought of this: my dog is a very forgving dog. Why? well here's why: You see, my dog loves to run... but he doesn't run straight. nope. he doesn't. one minute he'll be on my left, and then suddenly he'll swerve to the right to go sniff some rock or another. During these sudden change of lanes ( that's why dogs shouldn't drive, or at least mine shouldn't. even I know that you should signal and GRADUALLY change lanes...) it's quite inevitable that either my knee will bump into his head or I'll accidentally step on his foot. And when I commit one or 2 minor offences he just continues sniffing or walking. He doesn't care. Now, if it were a human... or if he had a human mind, he'll most probably immediately retaliate and stomp my foot back or bump me back. But no, (Thankfully...) he doesn't.

We humans really are different huh? We practice the " Do unto others as they just did to you ". We're quite.. how do you say it? calculative? there's a mandarin word for it 计较. We act quite differently from " If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.-Matt 5:39" don't we?
